I have no idea. I'm very skeptical, and I was going to contact my surgeon at New England Eye Center to find out. Then I saw their ad at the bottom of every page, save the first one, and thought, "Maybe they know and approve." But I'm only speculating. I had nothing to do with the do-it-at-home group.
If it's a spoof, it's an amazingly complex one. Seems like it must be, but why would someone go to that amount of trouble? The amusement level seems insufficient to the work.
