Congratulations on the impending opening of the rest of the Circle Line MRT stations! I am looking forward on my next trip to Singapore to meeting all of you first, then travelling on the new Circle Line!

Well, one never knows. I remember reading a science fiction novel decades ago where there was a worldwide underground train system spanning the oceans. There was a description of a trip through it that was quite spectacular.

It must have been before the discovery of plate tectonics, as I think that spanning a train over the subduction zones might have been a bit risky.
