How did it go at the foot clinic?

Hm. The podiatrist was a locum from the clinic in Bermondsey, and she wasn't familiar with my foot. She thought it was a bit red, and they put me on metronidazole and ciprofloxacin as well as amoxicillin and flucloxicillin. My poor intestinal flora are currently in their death throes.

I dressed the foot this morning and it does not look red at all nor swollen. In fact, it looks better than it did the last time I looked at it. But, of course, I can't stop the antibiotics unless the swab they took comes out clean (but I think it will).

Hope you're well; I made corn chowder this evening and topped it with common crackers and thought of you. Thanks!
