$20B wouldn't get the tunnel dug, much less a train and a floating airport laid. Ridiculous.

They've been talking about a floating airport in San Diego for at least a couple of decades. (Airport expansion and stadium renovation/replacement have been two of the most talked about issues in San Diego at least since I moved to San Diego in '89 and probably before, and no progress ever gets made on either front.) I'd expect the Saudis to start building synagogues in Mecca before any real progress is made on airport expansion in San Diego!

IC. Same in London with the Thames Estuary airport, which everyone talks up but no one ever puts any money where their mouths are.
