Shouldn't the Ides of March rather be calculated by the Julian calendar?
If you are an Orthodox Christian and follow the Julian Calendar, then yes.
Otherwise, it would make no sense. The Ides would come around the time of the Kalends of the next month and God only knows what would happen to the Nones.
