Twitter is still in its infancy. I am posting the tweets to my LJ simply so they don't get lost. They also tend to remind me of what I was doing, so that if I need to post something more I can do that. Sorry it's confusing.

When the twitterati get around to writing a serious app that doesn't screw people around and go up and down more often than a whore's knickers, then some of these kinks will get ironed out.
