Well, I suspect they do, but perhaps in the heat of the moment his little fellow escaped from his cup.

Certainly they are less well hidden than American football players, who often seem to have been covered in cloth woven by some giant silkworm before they waddle out on the field. I suppose it keeps the center from feeling the quarterback's hands between his cheeks, or something.
