I did, but I'm probably not the best person to ask, as I haven't looked seriously for a flat in ages. I took the first flat I saw when I started looking in 1994.

Location is important, and it seems to have location. The price is slightly higher than we are paying here for a 4BP 1-1/2 bath maisonette with a garden.

Remember you'll have to buy furniture too (or was it furnished?). AND get your broadband connected up etc.

Do you have a good feeling about it? Like the landlord? Ask about loud neighbours, as you'll have no place to hide if they're noisy. Can you afford it?

Sorry I can't be more specific, but my skill with flathunting is about the same as my skill with plants (ie, the plants die as soon as I touch them).
