Former Illinois State Rep. Larry McKeon dies

I met Larry several times during my time in Chicago; he was a great guy as well as an effective lobbyist and state legislator. I didn't know that he had retired in 2006.

Rest in peace and rise in glory, Larry.

if it's any consolation, the guy who has his seat, Greg Harris, is also gay and HIV+. Pretty soon, IL may have an open lesbian in the IL HOuse too.
