Lawrence's story is so sad. I hope people are shocked just as much as I was when they hear about his story.

Could have been. I wouldn't recognise her if I fell over her...I might recognise her brother Michael but I couldn't guarantee that. I'm a Philistine when it comes to pop music.

hmm while his death is tragic i'm not so sure he's a martyr in that sense of the word though... not like he sacrificed himself for a greater good or something

Well, most martyrs didn't set out to be martyrs. They were just going about their ordinary business when they got caught up in something else. That's Lawrence King's situation exactly.
