And you thought you had problems…

Tuesday, Sept. 17
8:05 a.m., police carried out a well-being check for a woman on Edgewood Road.
8:59 a.m., a walk-in to the police station reported that a purse was taken from an unlocked vehicle on Clifton Avenue.
11:37 a.m., a caller reported that picnic tables were being stacked at the school on Brook Road on weekends likely for young people to gain access to the school's roof.
2:49 a.m., a Humphrey Street resident reported a possible telephone scam: "(The person) states someone called her house and told her to go and start her Windows computer. She said it didn't work and the caller kept telling her to do it. She thinks it may of been a scam as it sounded like a foreigner, she did not give any information up and hung up the phone." Number One…emphasis above mine.
2:54 p.m., a walk-in from Nanepashemet Street said someone called claiming to be from a computer company and sought access to the home's computer. Number Two…
6:54 p.m., a motorcycle was repossessed on Ruby Avenue.

Wednesday, Sept. 18

2:26 a.m., a Hawkes Street caller reported his wife was missing, and said she was in good health and had no mental issues. "(The caller) went to bed at 2200 and awakened at 0215 to find her missing. He stated that he heard the alarm sound briefly at some point. He made a thorough search of the residence and reported all cars were present. After dispatching the units to his location, (the husband) called to inform me he found his wife, in bed, next to him. She was without medical issues and required no assistance of any kind. She was well and unharmed. He stated she is a small woman and was fast asleep. He confirmed her breathing to me and was then released from the phone, with direction to call us with any further issues per need." If there are cakes to be taken, this will take it. Possibly the reverse of the Sprat family…
