3:32 a.m. Caller on Robert Road reported a suspicious car in the area. Officers reported it was a news-delivery vehicle. Police then received another call from the original caller, who said that the car was not related to news delivery and had moved to in front of a different house on Robert Road. Officers spoke to a professional driver from the area.

11:50 a.m. Caller on Harbor Avenue reported receiving call from someone claiming to be from Medicare updating information to send out new cars. Caller did not provide any personal information and confirmed with Medicare that no such calls were being made. He provided the originating number to police.

11:57 a.m. Caller on Hawkes Street reported that her tire, which had been fine the day before, was now flat. Tire was found to have a slow leak and dry rot. Car was taken to repair shop, where air was put in all tires. Always nice that the constabulary keeps tabs on the citizens' tires.

1:21 p.m. A caller reported a 30-foot, red-hulled sailboat with mast and sails in the water on Marblehead Harbor. Harbormaster was notified.

7:24 p.m. Caller reported hole in the road large enough to cause cars to bottom out on Atlantic Avenue and Hawkes Street. DPW superintendent notified.

7:36 p.m. Caller on Shorewood Road reported her daughter had been harassed via text message. Officers investigated.

8:38 p.m. Caller possible missing person: a man she had thrown out of home they shared in East Boston at the end of August. She had exchanged text messages with him for a while but had not received any recently. She was advised to make the report to East Boston Police.

9:15 p.m. Investigated report of suspicious activity on Washington Street. Caller reported that a white van had pulled into his driveway, and a woman walked from up the street and got in the van carrying a bag. The man in the van had then looked through the bag with a flashlight instead of the van’s interior light. Van had left towards Atlantic Avenue.

10:08 p.m. Caller reported a domestic disturbance on Bowden Street. Officers found that people were arguing about Facebook. Now what would there be to argue about there?

10:17 p.m. Conducted well-being check of person in vehicle on Bowden Street. Person was just sleeping.

10:22 p.m. Chandler Hovey Park was checked and locked up.
