Wednesday, Dec. 26:
At 12:16 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Hereford Road.
At 2:44 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Wyman Road. A man in a striped shirt was reportedly seen in a backyard. Perhaps he just got an overnight Christmas present from the penitentiary.
At 4:31 a.m., a Middle Street man called police to report that his car was entered overnight. The man later called back and told police that his car wasn't broken into, he just dreamed that it was. I wonder if his name was Gerontius, by any chance…
At 8:54 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Elm Street.
At 9:14 a.m., a resident entered the police station to report that someone has been vandalizing a recently-painted building on Lighthouse Lane.
At 9:48 a.m., police responded to a report of harassment on Franklin Street.
At 9:57 a.m., a resident entered the police station to ask for assistance removing items from a house on Brookhouse Road.
At 10:12 a.m., police responded to an accidental 911 call from a home on Beacon Street.
At 11:56 a.m., police assisted a 61-year-old man on Green Street Court who was complaining about chest pains.
At 1:21 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Atlantic Avenue.
At 1:24 p.m., a Cloutman's Lane resident called police to report that his mail was sliced open and a medical card was missing from the inside.
At 1:50 p.m., a cell phone discovered at the intersection of State and Washington streets was turned over to police.
At 2:22 p.m., a resident entered the police station to complain about people who have been parking on Jersey Street during the parking ban and haven't been getting any tickets. I presume that the next time he parks on the street during the winter street parking ban he'll come in to complain about the ticket.
At 4:54 p.m., police responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle at the intersection of Lafayette and Maple streets.
At 5:38 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Glendale Road.
At 6:06 p.m., a man near the intersection of Spring and Sewall streets called police to report that kids pointed a laser in his eye and he "caught up with them and (had) eye pain." The child was picked up by his parents and the man reportedly had a friend take him to Mass Eye & Ear. Hey, kid, you'll put your eye out with that thing!
At 8:19 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Robert Road.
Thursday, Dec. 27:
At 1:02 a.m., police responded to a report of a domestic dispute on Sagamore Road. {name redacted}, 19, of {address redacted}, Prides Crossing, Mass., was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and malicious destruction of property valued above $250.
At 2:52 a.m., a man who entered the police station to retrieve his phone was arrested for having an outstanding warrant. That's what he gets for losing his phone.
At 4:07 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Prospect Street.
At 4:21 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Village Street.
At 5:38 a.m., a resident entered the police station to report a tree branch down near the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Nanepashemet Street.
At 5:59 a.m., police received word that a transformer was sparking near the intersection of Harbor Avenue and Andrews Lane.
At 6:29 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Glendale Road.
