The test was deficient. They asked a question about what I called a sweetened carbonated beverage. The choices were "soda", "pop", "Coke". They did not allow the word "tonic" as an answer, which is what I called it as a young stripling. When asked what I called the appliance that you drink water from, the choices were "drinking fountain" and "water fountain", not "bubbler", which is what we called it in my misspent yoof.

So I demand a recount!

Because in New England, in my misspent yoof, we called them "bubblers" because of what they did when you pressed the button to get water. Another term the test missed out on was "frappe" for "milkshake with ice cream", which is called a "milkshake" by most Americans. In Rhode Island they call it a "cabinet" which is just incomprehensible.

Perhaps you could make up a test to determine whether someone speaks real Singlish or not. That would be really interesting lah.

In Saint Louis, it's a concrete, not a cabinet!
