  • 09:49 @MrPandaBehr : odd coincidence: i was drinking mocha and reading and i suddenly coughed and the mocha sprayed all over the paper not in cup. #
  • 09:53 morning tweeters. off to the diabetic clinic this afternoon, very apprehensive. #

  • 16:21 back from the diabetic clinic. am now to inject exenitide twice daily 60 mins before meals. side effects don't look bad, we'll see how... #
  • 19:54 did first injection, ate dinner (leftover meatloaf) with HWMBO. Waiting for the side effects, if any. #
  • 20:11 feeling well. listening to Gregorian Chant on live365, finished my Dr Pepper Zero. hooray! #

Is the exenitide a permanent development or a temporary thing related to your recent cold?

No, it has nothing to do with the cold. The medication increases the amount of insulin your pancreas produces and thus hopefully decreases your blood sugar level.
