Posting from Ubuntu

I was about to complain about trying to install drivel on the Ubuntu computer. I shoulda read the documentation. I just typed one line into the terminal, and it downloaded drivel and installed it, and that's what I'm blogging on now. It would be nice if you could add tags to your post, but otherwise, it's great.

I am liking Ubuntu more and more.

Congratulations. Ubuntu specifically, but also other desktop Linux distros, have made so much progress making things "just work".

Now you *will* come to a point where you want something to work just a little bit differently, and there's no obvious way from A to B... ie the moment where you either hit the forums, or ask around, or both: let me know. I've run Ubuntu since late Warty, ie a good while.

Thanks for the offer. Being a software tester, I tend to try almost everything before acknowledging defeat, but I will be sure to call on you if I get stuck.
