- At 8:23 a.m., a Countryside Lane mom reported problems with her son. Lots of people have problems with their children but don't call the cops.
- At 9:50 a.m., police responded to an alarm at Longview Drive and discovered a forced entry had been made to the home. A man was seen riding a bicycle in the area. The man was described as being in his 30s and wearing a black baseball cap, a gray T-shirt, gray sweatpants and a black backpack.
- At 10:08 a.m., police received a report from a Central Street resident who said someone had entered her house two nights ago and stolen $120 from a purse hanging on a rail near the door.
- At 1:22 p.m., a Green Street caller reported objects have been thrown at his cars on several occasions since about July 4. The objects have included a metal pipe, a beer bottle and a plastic bottle of tobacco chew. What the heck is a plastic bottle of tobacco chew? It sounds ghastly.
- At 2:45 p.m., a Pleasant Street caller reported several garage windows had been smashed overnight.
- At 10:49 p.m., police received reports from Jersey Street and Guernsey Street of residents hearing fireworks and gunshots. There were multiple calls.

- At 0:03 a.m., police received calls about a gray truck hitting another vehicle and taking off. Police reported that the vehicle struck a Washington Street light pole, possibly cars and the muffin shop, damaging windows. Police charged Nxxxxx Kxxxxx, 22, ### Pleasant St., Marblehead with OUI liquor, leaving the scene of property damage and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
- At 9:21 a.m., four cars were ticketed on Pleasant Street for fire lane violations.
- At 9:30 a.m., a Hammond Place resident reported receiving a disturbing phone call the night before at 12:46 a.m. The caller, who identified herself as Melissa before hanging up, said she had left her child on the front steps of the home about 20 minutes earlier. What? What? What?
- At 2:15 p.m., an Abbot Street caller reported receiving a grandparent scam call.
- At 4:02 p.m., police received a walk-in report of 20 lobsters being stolen from a pier on Commercial Street.
- At 4:12 p.m., a female injured her head on the water and was to be transported to the hospital. Injured her head on the water? Was it frozen?
- At 7:58 p.m., a loud party was reported on Beacon Street.
