This week the Rabbi is Reunited
Jan. 10th, 2013 08:00 pmYou may remember the 1960's mystery novel series starring Rabbi David Small: Friday the Rabbi Slept Late, and so on. They were written by a guy named Harry Kemelman, who happened to be a Marbleheader. The fictional town in which Small was the rabbi was called "Barnard's Crossing", and it was modelled after Marblehead.
Kemelman died in 1996. And this week, his widow, Anne Kemelman, died at the age of "103.5" in Salem, MA, the city next door.
I trust that the Rabbi and his wife will now be writing and solving mysteries again.
