Last of the antibiotics and welcome to spwebdesign

Finally got my last shot in the bot this morning. I am so glad that's over. Now hopefully my toe will return to its normal size and the cardiologist will say encouraging things on Monday. My butt looks like a war zone, with bruises and plasters all over (I've gotten most of them off, I think...) However, if the infection is gone, it's worth it. I may have a bourbon and diet Coke tomorrow afternoon to celebrate.

For those of you in the Boston area, I'll be back there from Easter Monday through the following Sunday. If you're amenable, I'd love a meeting for lunch or dinner some day.

spwebsdesign has arrived and is now sleeping it off upstairs. We went to Tottenham Court Road for lunch and afterwards got him a mobile phone and together we went to Brick Lane to buy rye bread for tomorrow's breakfast. Tuckered us both out.

Well, I had to look it up, but it says here that Easter Monday is April 17¹. My book says that we're going to a Red Sox game on Wednesday night, and the following weekend is NEFFA, which pretty well ties us up from Friday mid-afternoon on, but that leaves lots of other opportunities for meals and chat.


¹Actually, it doesn't, but I infer it from the fact that the 16th is labelled "Easter Sunday". April 17 is in fact Patriots' Day, and it also appears to be the 5th or 6th day of Passover.

I think that Thursday might be a good evening to have dinner. Monday through Thursday afternoon I'll be dealing with family stuff and Tuesday night is the Masonic lodge meeting that I'll be attending with my brother, but Thursday night should be OK. I won't have internet access there I don't think but do have your mobile phone numbers. or at least the ones you had the last time I was there for July 4th in Gloucester. We can negotiate via PVT EMAIL for phone numbers and such.

Who knows where I'll travel in the future...I haven't been in SF since 1995 when I got my stuff out of storage and shipped it to London and I'm keen to go back.

Tuckered is putting it mildly! I'm surprised I made it down from the upper deck of the bus without doing a nosedive into the unsuspecting passengers below! I was very relieved to get back into the brisk air. ;)
